Pickaway Ross CTC began the middle grade career tech adventure with a pre-engineering course in 2014. Since, it has added 36 middle school programs to the CTPD. See the thought process behind the program design for the pre-engineering course that started it all. We will share the unique middle school brain "tween noggin" and how to design the curriculum for it, an actual activity from the curriculum, the scope and sequence for the program, the alignment with state CTE standards, overall costs, and how we worked with the home schools to grow middle school CTE offerings and career awareness in our district.
